Condensate float switch

SS1 / SS2 Safety Switches

  • Sits in the condensate drain line or pan and shuts the system down automatically if the drain clogs and water starts to back up
  • Prevents ceiling, drywall, and floor damage from an overflowing pan — the kind of repair that costs far more than the switch
  • SS1 is a single-point switch for the primary pan; SS2 adds a second point for secondary/emergency pan coverage
  • Required or recommended in many attic and closet installs where a leak isn't visible until it's already done damage

  • Replaces a thin 1" filter with a deep-pleat media cabinet, which holds far more surface area for capturing dust, pollen, and other particles
  • Higher MERV rating than a standard filter without the airflow restriction that a high-MERV 1" filter would cause
  • Filter changes drop to about once or twice a year instead of monthly
  • Sized to your existing return — install is a one-time ductwork modification, not a full system change
